Shahid, Kareena won't dub for Milenge Milenge?

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur's Milenge Milenge is ready the last two years, but without its leading actors' voice. Interestingly the film has some scenes where Shahid will be seen smoking, and that too has been securely passed by the Censor's. According to director Satish Kaushik he was the one who signed Kareena and Shahid Kapoor first, way before even Fida. "Milenge Milenge is a romantic comedy that was completed two years ago. I was the first one to present Shahid-Kareena in a romantic comedy even before Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met. But due to some reasons we had to delay the film." says Kaushik. In August 2005, the government announced a ban on onscreen smoking and also announced that films produced before the ban will have to run a scroll of legible black-on-white health warnings across the bottom of the screen when such scenes are being shown. Speaking about the censer certificate Kaushik says, "In the first half of the film, Shahid will be seen smoking in a few scenes. In the same year the government announced its intention to ban the portrayal of smoking in films, so getting a censor certificate was our main concern, but and we managed to get it." However due to censer certificate concerns, Kaushik was forced to dub his film without his leading actors. "Everything happened quite fast," he tells us. "We chose dubbing artists for Shahid and Kareena's voice, as getting the censor certificate was our man concern. But now we'll be asking Kareena and Shahid to dub for it. Kareena will start dubbing from this week itself while Shahid who is in Bangkok, will dub later. We are planning to release it early next year."
